Youth Support Service

The Youth Support Service is a multi agency response to the needs of adolescents in Wandsworth.  We have 3 locality Youth Support Teams covering Battersea, Tooting and Roehampton.  The teams comprise of social workers, Connexions and a targeted service to prevent the need for young people to become looked after. The Youth Support Teams offer a better service experience and aim to improve the outcomes of all young people in the Borough, especially vulnerable young people. Social workers work with looked after young people, Children in Need and offer a duty service within the Referral and Assessment Team. Wandsworth’s Children and Young Person’s Plan has a vision and commitment to ‘well targeted early intervention and support for all those who need it’.
